Effective May 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Taia Technologies, Inc. (“Taia,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit taiatech.com (the “Site”) or interact with us. It does not govern data processed on behalf of our customers through the Taia platform; that processing is governed by the contract between Taia and the applicable customer.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Contact information you provide. Name, email address, employer, and message contents when you complete a contact form, send us email, or otherwise communicate with us.
- Usage data. IP address, browser and device characteristics, pages viewed, and timestamps. We collect this automatically when you visit the Site.
- Cookies. The Site uses only essential cookies required for the Site to function. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your inquiry and communicate with you;

- comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Legal bases (EEA / UK visitors)
Where applicable, we rely on two legal bases under the GDPR and UK GDPR: (i) Article 6(1)(b), for responding to your contact-form submission or other pre-contractual inquiry; and (ii) Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site, including processing server logs for fraud prevention and abuse mitigation.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share personal information only as follows:
- Service providers. Vendors that process data on our behalf, under written terms restricting their use of the data. A current list is available to customers under mutual non-disclosure on request to privacy@taiatech.com.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Taia, our customers, or others.
5. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the services, to comply with legal obligations, and to enforce our agreements. Contact-form submissions are retained for up to twenty-four (24) months unless we are required to retain them longer.
This retention period applies to Site contact submissions. Platform customer data retention is addressed separately in our security documentation and customer contracts.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you reside, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict our processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email privacy@taiatech.com. We will verify your request before responding.
